LTG 53/54 360 Excavator Tracked and Wheeled under /over 10T
This course has been designed to allow appropriately qualified and experienced (in line with the requirements of ISO7130:2013) RTITB instructors to set up and conduct Basic RTITB operator training and testing for a tracked and wheeled 360 excavator (up to 10 tonne and over 10 tonne) with a boom and attached dipper arm with bucket and grading blade. Throughout this guide, the machine will be referred to as a ‘360 excavator’.
Candidates that successfully complete the training course and pass the test of basic operating skills will be certificated as 360 excavator operators.
This course does not include training for driving a 360 excavator on the highway. All operations should comply with local legal requirements.
This course does not cover lifting operations. 360 excavators are available in a variety of makes and models. Operational differences should be covered in specific job training.
