This course has been designed to allow appropriately qualified and experienced (in line with the requirements of ISO7130:2013) HTS instructors to set up and conduct Basic operator training and testing for a pedestrian and ride on All Terrain Vehicle (ATV).

ATV’s include all 4×4, 6×6, 8×8 vehicles such as sit astride Quads, side by sides such as CanAm, Polaris, Kobuta and Argo type machines.

Candidates that successfully complete the training course and pass the test of basic operating skills will be certificated as ATV operators.

This course does not include training for driving a ATV on the highway. All operations should comply with local legal requirements.

ATV’s come in a variety of makes and models. Operational differences should be covered in specific job training.
