This course has been designed to allow appropriately qualified and experienced (in line with the requirements of ISO7130:2013) HTS instructors to set up and conduct Basic operator training and testing for Trailer Training as Required by HSE and DVSA.

Candidates that successfully complete the training course and pass the test of basic operating skills will be certificated as Trailer operators.

This course does not include training for driving a trailer on the highway. All operations should comply with local legal requirements.

Trailers come in a variety of makes and models. Operational differences should be covered in specific job training.
